Osmia

Osmia (legal entity Osmia Oy) is a Helsinki-based design-and-handcraft company making natural sauna products, including soap, shampoo, and scented accessories, with a peat product line the company says it has made for almost 30 years. Its soaps are handmade from food-grade rapeseed, olive, castor, and coconut oils, and its peat bar and shampoo use surveyed Finnish “nursing cosmetic peat” — a recognized Finnish grade for cosmetic-use peat — alongside eucalyptus oil and patchouli. The peat shampoo lists peat directly in its ingredient listing, and Osmia’s Helsinki factory shop also takes on reseller applications for B2B distribution, with resellers across Finland and abroad in addition to its own site.
