Gesundhotel Bad Reuthe

Gesundhotel Bad Reuthe in Reuthe, Vorarlberg, has cut its own moor for more than 200 years from a site directly beside the hotel; the moor goes from the meadow straight into the tub. The hotel stands at 650 metres and has been run by the Frick family for four generations. In 1865 a regional handbook already described it as the most important spa resort in the province. The resort markets its moor for its high humic-acid content.

Moor is used as full and half baths, as packs with fresh moor, as cold moor packs, and in Black Skin®, a body treatment with fresh moor and steam. A one-week moor-cure package includes an examination and a cure prescription by a doctor.
